Project: Employee Action Plan
Three strengths that I bring to the workplace are efficiency, initiative, and problem-solving. I am efficient at multitasking, such as explaining something while working on another important project or managing multiple children who are working on different things. I also take initiative when I notice a problem, such as quickly finding cleaning supplies when I notice a spill. I am good at solving problems creatively, whether that means distracting an upset child or finding a quick solution when I need supplies that were forgotten or are not available to me.
Three areas I would like to improve are interpersonal skills, punctuality, and motivation. While I have strong interpersonal skills with my students, I sometimes have difficulty building relationships with my colleagues beyond politely giving them instructions when asked. I am also consistently on time for my classes, but I often run late when setting up for them, so I would like to adjust my schedule to give myself enough time to properly prepare for the children. This scheduling problem is sometimes caused by a lack of motivation, although working with the children quickly gives me the motivation to get started once class begins.
