Hello

Hi! My name is Julie Clark, my grandmother has had a passion for art specifically painting with acrylic and oil paint, for as long as I can remember. As soon as I was old enough to talk she started teaching me little things like how to blend. Starting when I was eleven years old I decided I needed a hobby, so I started to develop a skill in the realm of art and soon grew a passion for it. I am still learning and growing as an artist, but that will always be the case. I am glad I can now share my passion with the rest of the world.

My Story

Welcome readers, your author and painter Julie here! If you are interested, here is a little bit to know about me. My parents Ivan and Amber are happily married and have been for quite some time. I am the youngest of four children, however my siblings are only related to me on my father's side. I was born and raised and still live in Springfield MO where I have lived a peaceful life developing my passion for art among other things.

I have a great interest instilled in me by my parents, mainly my father, for the five humanities, art, music, philosophy, history, and literature. I have been a Christian all my life belonging to no particular denomination, as such when I was seven years old my mother founded a private Christian hybrid-homeschool from the ground up for me. I have grown up happy learning painting on my own with help in my early childhood development from my grandmother.

When I was four I started taking swim lessons, I wish to in the future become an elementary teacher and have used my passion for swimming as a start to that career by teaching young children how to swim with my old swim instructor at her small business locally. My mother is a psychologist and knowing this she has taught me how to help neurodivergent children and assist quite a few through my teaching.

My favorite subject in school was always history as I found the true stories and myths fascinating, however I love my old literature teacher like a second mother and she has given me a passion for literature, I am currently writing my own book however doubt it will ever be published, and will blog about history and literature I have learned in the form of essays along with selling my art, if you are interested, that will be put in the blog section of this website. I hope you enjoy!
