Government Questions 6
As I prepare to write a post concerning government & American culture, I stop to ask myself a few questions, find your personal answers if you wish, this will likely come up in my next or previous post and might interest you further.
Poverty - Inequality
Define materialism. How has materialism fluctuated with poverty rates? How has government affected those rates?
What's the difference between market & government entrepreneurs? Are there cons to both business models? Do either create monopolies?
Who would pay for government funded resources like the science departments without the government? Would that alternative be more beneficial to the public than what we have now?
Does inequality automatically mean injustice? Should the goal (both the government's motives & personal goals) be equal incomes, or improving everyone's standard of living with your unequal contributions?
