How has the feminist movement changed since Jeannette Rankin (first woman in Congress) would she approve of how things are today based on her actions while in Congress?
Most supported Wilson's war, but some argued the draft violated the 13th amendment. Even now most support drafts in the name of patriotism. Is how the draft works a violation? Can it be a good thing even so?
How did the draft affect soldiers coming home, particularly the racial issues in Chicago?
What caused the shift from defending socialism's economics to defending their moral ground? Is this defense a sufficient one?
