American Questions 2

     As I prepare to write a post concerning American history & culture, I stop to ask myself a few questions, find your personal answers if you wish, this will likely come up in my next or previous post and might interest you further.

Pre-Columbian America - Themes & Lessons of Colonial America (17th Century)

• How might John Locke, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, & Thomas Hobbs debate the life & culture of pre-Columbian America?

• Is small pox what caused pre-Columbian America's downfall to the Spaniards, or was it more to do with the Indians' State & culture?

• How did the actions and events surrounding Henry VII & his lineage affect British colonies in America and their fight for liberty against the British decades later?

• Before the written American Constitution, all British colonies in America valued individual rights. What happened?
